Famous Quakers of West Ham

We are delighted to welcome Dr Mark Gorman, author of Saving the People’s Forest, together with Peter Williams MA (Cantab), author of dozens of articles on local history topics and West Ham and its Fire Brigade: An Illustrated History.

Together they will bring to life the stories of some of West Ham’s notable Quakers and their place in our local history. It promises to be a fascinating and richly illustrated talk, with plenty to discover.

Join us from 1.30pm for tea, coffee and a catch up. Please bring a cup if you can. We will start promptly at 2.00pm.
